Old Testament Study
Sundays 9:00am, Jan. 9-early May, 2022
Have you ever wondered, “What on earth is God doing?” He has already told us. It’s not on YouTube, Netflix or Amazon Prime. It’s in that medium size brown or black book somewhere on your desk or nightstand or it might be on your tablet or phone. It’s in His word, the Bible. The Bible has 2 major parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. In my Bible the OT is found in the first 1313 pages and the NT is in the remaining 391 pages. So, the OT makes up 77% and the NT makes up 23% of the volume of God’s word to humanity. How well do you know the OT? Would you like to better understand, “What on earth is God doing?” Let’s go back in time – back to learn how it all began and where history is headed. Let’s witness Creation, the Fall, the Flood, and the rise of the nation of Israel. Let’s watch faith develop and see God’s power, love, wisdom and judgements. This class encompasses the first 5 books (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy), otherwise known as “The Law”. So, let’s read, study, ask questions and find answers together while we let God show us what on earth He is doing.
