A Wonder Full Christmas

Ladies and girls (6+), invite a friend and join us for our Women’s Ministries Christmas Event on Monday, December 4 at 7:00pm in the New Life Worship Center. Don’t miss this beautiful evening of dessert, music and a message, “A Wonder Full Christmas” from guest speaker, Chona Bernardo. Tickets ($10) are available beginning Oct. 22 online and on Sunday mornings in the Great Room.

Guest Speaker Chona Bernardo

Chona Bernardo was born in the Philippines and moved to the States to pursue graduate studies in math at the University of Illinois, where she met Rex. They have been married for 35 years. Chona was a homeschool mom to their six children for 26 years. She has loved serving together with her family in various ministries at New Life Church, including life groups, Awana, ACES Homeschool Coop and the Easter musical-drama,Crown Him . These days, she enjoys having the entire family come over for a big meal, looks forward to babysitting her three grandsons, relishes staying connected with friends, and is thankful that her remote full-time job continues to allow her to travel with Rex. Throughout life’s ups and downs, she holds on to Psalm 16:5-6: “Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”
