Parent Minimum Volunteer Requirements:
Parents/Guardians of Cubbies, Sparks & T&T (Age 4 through Grade 6): At least one parent/guardian is required to volunteer a minimum of once a month. You will be contacted to arrange for your volunteer schedule. We will work with you to find the best area for you to volunteer, including nursery, Cubbies, Sparks or T&T.
Parents/Guardians of Cubbies (age 3-4): At least one parent/guardian is required to be in the building the weeks they aren’t volunteering.
Grades 7-12 (Trek and Journey clubs) will meet Sundays from 7:00-8:30pm at New Life Church. Andrew & Nancy Dennis as well as other leaders will let you know details about specific events and the start date once registration is complete.
Special Needs Support:
We try to accommodate children with various abilities. Because AWANA is volunteer run, we cannot accommodate all needs. If a student has an Individualized Education Plan, please contact Kendra Johnson at awana@nlcwoodbury.org to ensure we can provide the appropriate support to meet the child’s needs.
