New Life Academy
Established in 1977, New Life Academy is the largest Preschool-Grade 12 non-denominational Christian school serving East Metro families and is a ministry of New Life. The 680+ student body is a community of friends learning and growing together.
The NLA mission is to educate and energize each student to impact their world for Jesus Christ and to reach their full potential in scholarship, leadership and service out of love for God and one another.

Homeschool
The Homeschooling ministry is designed to:
- Encourage and facilitate fellowship and networking among families who homeschool or who are considering homeschooling
- Support, through a voluntary and parent-led homeschool co-op, opportunities that expand and enrich student learning in individual homeschools
New Life ACES (Academic & Christian Education for Students) Co-op falls under the umbrella of the New Life Homeschool Family Ministry, whose mission is to mentor and support families who homeschool their children in Woodbury and in the surrounding community, so that the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified in our families, in the church, and in our community. Hence, it is more than just a co-operative that meets for classes. It is an establishing tool for families—encouraging husbands and wives in their God-given roles, parents, both singles and couples, in training their children, and children in honoring their parents. The co-ops seeks to:
- Supplement subjects taught at home
- Provide encouragement and fellowship for homeschooling families within New Life and beyond our church family
- Provide ways in which we can reach out to our community
New Life ACES Co-op is not a formal umbrella or alternative school, but is a voluntary, parent-led enrichment group that supplements the learning that occurs in each family homeschool. More than 100 homeschool children from nearly 40 families meet at the co-op on Thursdays, 9:10am – 12:30pm, at Five Oaks Community Church. Enrichment classes include art, music, physical education, science, and electives. These classes are taught by parent volunteers.
