Ladies, please join us for our Women’s Retreat at New Life Church, Friday-Saturday, February 24-25!

Our theme is “What Not to Wear” – learning what to “put off” and what to “put on” as we run toward Jesus with the goal of becoming more like Him . Put on the new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him. Colossians 3:10.

The cost of retreat is $65 which includes 3 meals, materials, and some surprises! If you would like to contribute toward scholarships, you are welcome to do so. You can also donate toward supplies for making tie blankets as an outreach. This will be an activity during the retreat.

    Tuesday Mornings

Women, join us Tuesday mornings, 9:15-11:30, in the Worship Center as we gather for worship, Bible study – God of Freedom, Exodus 19-40, fellowship and prayer.

    Dates: Jan. 17, 24, 31; Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28; Mar. 14, 21, 28; Apr. 4
    Time: 9:15-11:30am
Study: God of Freedom – Exodus 19-40 (author: Jen Wilkin)

In this 10-session study of Exodus 19–40, journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly-liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives consecrated for service to God and to one another. Revisit familiar scenes of the giving of the Ten Commandments, the idolatrous worship of a golden calf, and of the intricate details of the tabernacle. And with fresh perspective, ask what these stories teach God’s children today about how to live as those set free.

Tuesday Children’s Ministry: Childcare is available for children while their mom attends a study. Children must be registered in advance. Each study group will rotate into the Children’s Ministry to volunteer for care of the children.

    Mentoring – Women Shepherding Women

Could you benefit from godly counsel and encouragement? Would you love to have the opportunity for one-on-one sharing, biblical support and prayer? Do you need the wisdom of a more seasoned Christian woman, perhaps for guidance as a wife or mother, or in a time of great testing such as cancer therapy? Meet one-on-one with a woman of Christian maturity as a mentor for guidance and encouragement as you work through a study chosen specifically for you. Meeting times are scheduled when convenient for you and your mentor. For more information, email women’s leadership team.
